Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Baltimore Holiday Lighting's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
Services
Baltimore Holiday Lighting provides professional holiday lighting design, installation, maintenance, and removal services for residential and commercial properties. All services are subject to availability and scheduling.
Booking and Payment
- A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your installation date
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation
- Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote
- Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, check, or electronic bank transfer
- Late payments may be subject to additional fees
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling policies:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before scheduled installation: Full refund of deposit
- Cancellations made 7-14 days before installation: 50% refund of deposit
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before installation: No refund
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance
- Weather-related rescheduling is at no additional charge
Property Access
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for installation, maintenance, and removal services. This includes access to outdoor electrical outlets and areas requiring lighting installation.
Liability and Insurance
Baltimore Holiday Lighting carries comprehensive liability insurance. However:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property
- We are not liable for damage caused by severe weather or acts of nature
- You are responsible for ensuring adequate electrical capacity for the lighting display
- Any damage caused by our negligence will be promptly addressed and repaired
Maintenance and Repairs
In-season maintenance is included in all packages. This covers bulb replacements, timer adjustments, and minor repairs. Major damage caused by severe weather or vandalism may incur additional charges.
Equipment Ownership
All lighting equipment, including bulbs, wiring, and mounting hardware, remains the property of Baltimore Holiday Lighting unless otherwise specified in writing. Equipment may not be altered, moved, or removed by the customer.
Warranty
We warrant that our services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 48 hours of installation and we will address your concerns.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baltimore Holiday Lighting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to our services.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
